I love facebook and I love blogs! I look at all my friends status updates and if something catches my eye I will read into it further. One of my friends had written on her status that he deepest thoughts and most sincere prayers were going out to a certain family. She seemed very passionate by this family so I decided to read more into it. She posted the blog address on her page so you could read what is going on with this family and encouraged everyone to pray for them. I clicked on the blog address and began reading. It took me a while to get to the post that explained what was going on. When I got there I read that a mother had walked out of the bathroom for a split second while her boys were in the tub and one of them had drown. The mother goes on to explain how she did CPR and had her older son call 911. You could feel the intensity of what happened through her words. She wrote how she felt when all of this was happening and she wrote of all the guilt she felt. This poor woman. She posted pictures of her son laying in the crib at Primary Children's Medical Center with tubes all over him. She thanked all of the people, friends and strangers, for reading her blog and for praying for her sweet baby boy! She requested that everyone " hug your babies a little tighter and give your children an extra squeeze." This blog is amazing and I continue to read it daily. It is so touching and it truly makes you thankful. Her amazing faith and her love for her son is amazing. If you would like to read this blog the address is StakerzXposed.blogspot.com! This past week Brian and I attended a viewing. It was for the son, the baby of some of our friends. The feelings I had there were indescribable. The compassion I had for his mom was unreal. The heartache she must be feeling. I could only imagine how she must feel. That night when we got home I couldn't stop looking at Colson. I just wanted to hold him! After he fell asleep I watched him for a little bit. Why does it take bad things happening to ourselves and/or others to make us especially grateful for the things we have? I am so thankful to be the mom of a healthy boy! I am so thankful for the way being a mom has changed me.Thank you for all you are teaching me and the person you are helping me become Colson. Thank you for the new meaning of love you have shown me! I love you so much! Let's all keep these families in our prayers and hug our babies a little tighter!

Christmas and New Years Eve!
I can't believe Christmas is over! It goes to quickly I think! Christmas is a million times more fun with a baby! I can't wait to see how it is when he is older! On Christmas Eve we went and looked at lights with my family! Colson LOVED it! We went to Festival of Lights in Spanish Fork like I have done since I can remember! It was so much fun to keep that tradition going with on of my babies! I surprised Brian with Jazz tickets! He was SO excited! I also got him shoes, a picture frame, and a build a bear! The last two are inside jokes but they mean a lot! :) Colson got SO much stuff! I STILL haven't found places for it all! He got a lot of clothes too, which was good because he was running low on them! Brian got me such cool things! He got me one of the Willow Tree figures, I love those and have started collecting them! He also got me an I pod and diamond earrings! They are so pretty!! I was also able to get a lot of clothes and my parents got us a membership to the zoo! We had such a great Christmas!
For New Years Eve we decided to stay in and eat junk food and play video games! We even kept Colson up until mid night! We did so poppers at mid night and tried to show Colson the fire works that others were doing! It was a great New Years Eve! My baby will be 1 this year!

Christmas Time!!
I can't believe Christmas is in 3 days! This year has flown by! Christmas is my favorite time of year for sure! I love how happy and giving people become around Christmas! This Christmas will be our second "married Christmas!" Last year we weren't able to buy gifts so we have had so much fun buying gifts for our families, each other, and of course Colsy this year! I got some pretty cool things for Brian and I CAN'T wait to see his face when he opens them! Shopping for Colson was TOO much fun to say the least. We started shopping early for him so we wouldn't have to do it all at once and it sure added up quickly! We are so excited for his first Christmas but we are even more excited for future Christmas days. We can't wait until Colson is really into Santa and stuff like that! I really want our kids to know that not all kids get Christmas presents all the time and that Christmas is about Christ not just presents. I want to teach them that giving is one of the best things we can do. Brian and I plan on each year having our kids use their OWN money that they earn to buy a gift for a child on the Angel Tree or Toys for Tots. I am hoping that every year we can choose a few people off on thee Angel Tree. I really want our kids to appreciate the power of giving to those who don't have. :) I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!
