Christmas Time!!

I can't believe Christmas is in 3 days! This year has flown by! Christmas is my favorite time of year for sure! I love how happy and giving people become around Christmas! This Christmas will be our second "married Christmas!" Last year we weren't able to buy gifts so we have had so much fun buying gifts for our families, each other, and of course Colsy this year! I got some pretty cool things for Brian and I CAN'T wait to see his face when he opens them! Shopping for Colson was TOO much fun to say the least. We started shopping early for him so we wouldn't have to do it all at once and it sure added up quickly! We are so excited for his first Christmas but we are even more excited for future Christmas days. We can't wait until Colson is really into Santa and stuff like that! I really want our kids to know that not all kids get Christmas presents all the time and that Christmas is about Christ not just presents. I want to teach them that giving is one of the best things we can do. Brian and I plan on each year having our kids use their OWN money that they earn to buy a gift for a child on the Angel Tree or Toys for Tots. I am hoping that every year we can choose a few people off on thee Angel Tree. I really want our kids to appreciate the power of giving to those who don't have. :) I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!

ArChEs..

Yesterday we went down to Arches National Park so that Tom could see it! We all had so much fun! Colson got to sit in his carrier and Brian carried him. Colson loved it! It was a little cold there but it was so pretty! The next time we go there I want it to be at night! I saw a picture of what a clear night looks like there - beautiful. :)

Black Friday :)

I have never been one to get up early to go shopping! I don't like dealing with huge crowds, complaining people, or freezing cold. Last year Brian lost this job right before Thanksgiving so we were not able to buy anyone anything for Christmas. The best part of Christmas is giving presents to people and we were so sad that we couldn't. This year we can but we still need to do it on a budget! I searched ads during Thanksgiving dinner at my parents house to see what was out there. Old Navy's sales caught my eye because Colson needs clothes so bad. Well when Brian saw the ad and saw that they had a very limited number of Lego Rockbands to give away with a $20 dollar purchase! We went and got in line at 7, we were the first ones there! :) The line filled quickly with people hoping to get the game for free. We found out that they only had 50 copies of the game that were spread out over The Wii, X-Box, and PS3. Brian's sister Nicole, and her husband Karl, and Brian's sister Danyelle came with us too! We all got a copy of the game for different systems! And we got great deals on clothes! I got a $45 dollar sweater for $15 dollars, a cute shirt for $5, Colson 5 shirts for $5 each, and jeans for $10 dollars. I spent under $60 dollars on all of that. We saved like $85 dollars and got the game for free! The game is $60 dollars normally. The line to check out was forever long but it was so worth it!! The game is awesome!

Keeping up with The Ferrons........

I just wanted to post something letting everyone know what is going on with us lately! Brian has finished the first block of the Police Academy at UVU! He passed his physical final yesterday and tomorrow is his written final! He has been studying like crazy! I am so nervous haha. I know he will do great though! I can't wait for him to be all done and be hired as an officer! Everything will start falling into place then!

Colson has his first tooth just about in!! It is so dang cute! Nobody believed me that he was teething already but now that you can see AND feel it, they believe me! He hasn't been too fussy but drools a lot and has a runny nose! He is so much fun!

Colson can now roll over without a struggle! He gets the most proud smile on his face after he does it. It is so cute! He is getting so big! I love it! He can also hold his own bottle for the most part. Sometimes he gets lazy and he will drop it but usually he can do it for a while. :) He is also starting to scoot on his tummy! It is adorable!

We are so excited for Christmas!! We have started Colson's but not anyone else's! He is so much fun to shop for! Anyone that knows me knows I LOVE LOVE Christmas and I get excited for it in July!! It is my favorite time of the year! Thanksgiving is Thursday which makes me SUPER excited because that means Christmas is right around the corner! Brian and I stayed the night at my parents last Christmas Eve and they want us to continue that tradition forever.... So we will be staying there every Christmas Eve! :) I can't wait to see what is in store for us in the Christmas's to come!! :)

Tom.....

4 years ago my mom, who is the biggest sweet heart in the world donated bone marrow to a complete stranger! All she knew it that he was the same age as me and has Leukemia! 2 years ago they were able to start talking to one another and this week he came from England and him and my mom finally got to meet each other! We have all been talking to Tom on Face book for 2 years now but to finally meet him is amazing! He is fitting in with our crazy family and we are having so much fun with him here! :) He is so nice and funny! Today we went up to thee Olympic Park and Park City! We had so much fun! We also had a BBQ! (I know it was snowing - but hey it was good!) We all love having Tom here and we are so happy he will be here to spend the holidays with us! We will be sad to see him go home! I am so happy that my mom and Tom have finally got to meet each other!
